Florida 2012

We took a trip to Florida over Marcia's winter break in 2012.  The primary reason for the trip was for the wedding of Jason Ferry.  Jason is the son of very close friends Paul and Gail.  He married Sarah Wilson in Orlando.  We flew to Orlando on Saturday, February 18.  We stayed two nights at the Courtyard at Lake Lucerne, a historic bed and breakfast in downtown Orlando, where the wedding was held.

On Monday morning, we drove to Jason and Sarah's house in Orlando.  Paul, David and Steve, Sarah's father, made breakfast for the group.  From there, we drove to Key Largo, where Paul and Gail had rented a house.  We stayed there until Thursday morning, when we flew back from Fort Lauderdale.

While we were there, we spent a day in Key West and a portion of another day visiting the Cape Florida Lighthouse in Key Biscayne.  The pictures of the lighthouses we saw are on separate pages in our lighthouse section.

These pictures are of the first part of our trip, the time we spent at the Inn for the wedding and at Jason and Sarah's house the next day.  We had so many pictures, it was best to split this into two pages.  The rest of the trip is here.
