Hello David,
Just discovered your website. I just had some repairs done on the neck (a reset) of my FG360. The serial number is 40514 and it is a tan label. That fits with when I bought it. I was working and saving for about 10 months and found it in a store in Guelph, Ontario, Canada where I was living then. It was 1974 or 75 when I purchased it. It was on sale for $250. I had just started to learn how to play guitar and it had a beautiful sound. I bought it right away. Since then I also had Grover tuners put on it. It sounded so great for the price I often thought they made a mistake when it was made. Through the years many people offered to buy it or let me know if I ever wanted to sell it. It was my first “real” guitar and we have been through a lot together. It still sounds as good as it ever did. Thanks for the website, it was fun to read about these guitars.
