I was first contacted by
Jan on July 16, 2021. This FG-360 would be the 93rd Japanese model
that we know of and number 148 overall.
Hi David,
Thanks for your effort in collecting information about the Yamaha FG-360. The story about my Yamaha FG-360 is quite short, I found it in a dumpster in Stockholm, Sweden where I live, back in 2017. It wasn't playable when I found it but I rescued it anyhow (since I saw the "Made in Japan" on the tag). Back home, I put it in a closet(for taking a more thorough look at it in the future). I forgot about its existence until 3 days ago when I came across it when looking for something else. When examining it, I found that both the nut and the saddle were worn out. So right now, when writing this, I have finalized bringing it back to life by replacing the nut and the saddle and putting new strings on it. My impression this far, is that it is a good guitar, that I will continue to take care of in its new home.
The serial no. of it is 40221. Please let me know if you want
some more information about it (eg. pics...).
