I was first contacted by
Greg on May 5, 2020. This FG-360 would be the 78th Japanese model
that we know of
and number 122 overall. Greeting from the Great White North .. I have a FG360 Nippon Gakki serial # 40614 that I bought new in Hamilton, Ontario back in 1974. I have many fond memories of playing at parties and around campfires with my buds till the wee hours. I would get many comments from people about how great this guitar sounded even though I had limited skills. It's full sound would punch through a group of acoustics and literally stand out. I was proud to own it. Fast forward to present day and it sits in it's case in music room and is seldom played. I have graduated to more high end equipment and its basically part of the furniture. I took it out tonight prior to sending this. It has a few nicks and scratches but otherwise is still solid and shiny with no age cracks to be found. It has always lived in it's case in controlled humidity. I had new tuners and a Fishman passive pickup installed and even though the strings a junked, it still resonated with deep bottom and claity. It's like a comfortable old friend and a connection to the great memories we shared. It will be with me always. Greg Nott Our thanks to Greg for contacting us.
