I was first contacted by
Dolly on October 28, 2020. This FG-360 would be the 88th Japanese model
that we know of and number 136 overall.
I have a Yamaha FG-360 with the five-digit serial number 31218 on the cross brace. There is also the notation “Nippon Gakki Co., Ltd. Made in Japan” on the label inside the hole. I bought it new from a music store in NorthPark Mall in Dallas in the spring of 1979. It’s the only guitar I have ever owned, and I’m very happy with it.
