I was first contacted by
Anthony on July 15, 2023. This FG-360
is the 24th Japanese model not exported to the US that we know of and number 168
overall.
Hi David,
Came across your page about Yamaha FG360.
I bought mine second hand near Aberdeen Scotland in the
early 1990s. Was looking for a hard case for another guitar,
and saw an advert for a guitar with hard case for £75, so
went for a look and bought it.
It has Serial No. 30116293, Label shows Yamaha FG-360 NIPPON
GAKKI CO., LTD. 10-1 NAKAZAWACHO HAMMAMATSU JAPAN
with a hand written symbol like a cross between a K and an
A. It certainly looks to me to be a solid top.
Closed, Yamaha branded tuners, and MADE IN JAPAN on the back
of the headstock.
A bit of wear and tear, so not in immaculate condition, but still sounds and plays very nice.
