Fender Special Edition Ash Deluxe Jazz Bass

In keeping with the idea that I wanted to purchase a nice, but less expensive bass to leave in Florida, I ordered this 2017 Fender Special Edition Ash Deluxe Jazz Bass with Pau Ferro Fingerboard and natural finish.

I ordered it from Musician's Friend on November 1, 2017 and it arrived on the 8th.  I have alway liked the natural finish.  This guitar somewhat combines some of the features of the two bass guitars I have up north.  It is basically like my Fender American Special Jazz.  The fingerboard, pickguard and controls are a bit different but the finish is very similar to that of the Gibson EB.

This is a MIM guitar and didn't come with a case.  I already had a gig bag that came with the American.  Since I bought a hard shell case for that, the gig bag has been in storage.
